Adult Ministries

Listed below are ministries that we offer for adults.  Please check them out and see if there is something you might be interested in.

  • Adult bible fellowship

    Adult Bible Fellowship Classes are Bible study groups that meet on Sunday mornings at 10:00.  For a list of the various classes and where they meet.  (Click Here).

  • DEaf Ministry

    We have a dedicated team of interpreters that sign for the deaf and hearing impaired at the 11:00 worship service.  If you have any questions, contact Kathy Heckman at jkcjheck@comcast.net or 724-832-9668.

  • Women's ministry

    L.O.F.T. - Ladies of Faith Together

    Our Women's Ministry provides lots of opportunities for fellowship and service.  We have ladies who prepare communion, provide funeral dinners, take meals to those who need them, set up and clean up for church dinners, decorate the church, send care packages to our college students, lead Bible studies, serve as mentors, and support our own and area-wide women's events.

  • Prayer Ministry

    We have teams of caring individuals that make themselves available at the end of each worship service to pray for you and your needs.  Prayer requests can also be shared on our email and phone prayer chains.  Contact the church office at 724-834-4850 or hempfieldcc@gmail.com.

  • LIBRARY

    The Church Library has a large collection of Christian fiction and non-fiction books for all ages and reference material along with Christian videos.  The library is located downstairs in room 100 (at the end of the fellowship hall).  Amy Gresham is the librarian.

  • missions

    HCC actively supports  missions all around the world and maintains contact with those who lead them.   We also take groups on short-term mission trips.   

  • small groups

    There is something for everyone at one of our Growth Groups!  They cover a variety of topics in an informal small group setting that last six to twelve weeks. They offer a great opportunity to strengthen your relationship with God and with other Christians.     Click here for more information and details about the groups.

  • The Giving Garden

    We have a team of hard workers who plant, water, weed and feed a section of our property.  All of the harvest is donated to the Westmoreland County Food Bank as part of their Fresh Express Program.   For information contact Linda Beer at lindabeer915@gmail.com.
