What is comMotion?

Middle School is a unique age, when students are beginning to learn to apply scripture, think critically, and apply truth to their lives.  They are also beginning to encounter difficult issues, and wrestle with things like peer pressure, identity concerns, and moral values.  Middle School is a time when students are moving toward adulthood, but usually with a lot of energy needed to burn along the way.

That is why we have comMotion!  We believe Middle School students have the ability to learn, apply, and use truth to follow Jesus, but we recognize that the format needs to allow for noise, play, and interaction.

Sunday School:

comMotion meets for Sunday School every Sunday morning from 10:00 - 11:00am.  The teachers are Nikki Wolfgang, Megan Clark, and Tim McBride.

comMotion meets on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:15. Families are also invited to join us for dinner at 6:00 each week. We dig in to fun, faith and fellowship each week together. We just finished a series on what we can learn from our experience with Fortnite, and now we are diving into a series on Genesis, to see where it all begins.  Janet Drown is the teacher on Wednesday evenings.

Camp Christian

As a church, we are a supporter of Camp Christian in Mill Run, PA. They are a great camp that has been around for a long time, and each summer they have a slew of activities, camps, and retreats that students can take part in. During the year, they provide winter and fall retreats that we take students to as well.
